Press Release 1
Kerry Motor Club, the organisers of the Circuit of Kerry Rally are pleased to announce the reappointment of Senan Raggett as Clerk of the course for his 5th consecutive rally.

Senan, has been a member of KMC since 1990, and initially joined the club as a marshal and worked through the ‘ranks’ to be COC of one of the most popular events on the Irish Motorsport Calendar.

Speaking last night at a Kerry Motor Club meeting, Senan thanked the directors and members for his appointment, he also announced a few radical changes to follow on from last years novel approach in helping to attract entries in such economically challenging times. They are as follows:

1. Entry fee will be reduced to €450
2. €250 Voucher for each class winner for Kerry Mini Stages Rally 2011(Banna)
3. Modified Challenge
For the second year KMC will offer 2 free entries from 4 nominated events, to highest placed car in classes 9 to 14 (those events are Circuit of Munster, Galway Summer, Clare Stages or Kerry Mini Stages)
In addition to the above if ‘The Modified Challenge’ is won by a car in class 13 or 14, a free entry will be awarded to the highest place car from classes 9 to 12.
4. As Kerry is not a counting round of the Dunlop Championship, TV coverage was not included; however following discussions with On the Limit Sport, the event will be televised and shown to a worldwide audience. A complimentary DVD of all cars and the programme will be given to each crew.
5. Again The Carlton Hotel have been amazing with their offer for the weekend, A double/twin room for Saturday night B&B €99 and stay Sunday night FREE!!!
