Sitting on the start line of my first rally. Never forget the nerves

Went off on the first stage of the Galway International 2010, had to do Sunday run

Get myself my licence first then probably a Civic Eg6

Dont take it too seriously

Uncomfortable but works wonders over jumps

Q1 How did you get started in rallying?
My dad was rallying since before i was born and i grew up watching him.

Q2 First event you competed on?
Navigated in Birr Stages Rally 2006

Q3 How many rallies do you compete in during a year?
5-6. Depending on money

Q4 Favourite rally car?
Gotta be a Mk2 or Opel Manta

Bertie Fisher

Q6 What sort of pace notes do you use and anything they could do to improve them?
Just started on Killian Duffy’s notes and they seem to be very good, he cuts out all the crap.

Q7 One thing you would change in Irish Rallying?
I think Juniors should get more acknowledgement. In rallies they seem to be always forgotten about.

Q8 Most memorial moment in Rallying?
Gettin’ out of the passenger seat and driving for the first time.

Q9 The moment you would most like to forget in rallying?
My brother rolling my rally car that i just bought off him

Buy a C2R2 MAX

Buy a Civic. Cheap but fun.
